Time: Approx. 2 1/2 hours (Still need to get my watch fixed)

Having not been on my bike since Feb, and recovering from 12h drinking I only did a “short” 21 mile ride, maybe I’ll do more tomorrow.

Having not been on my bike or EA Sports active since Tuesday, I didn’t have much confidence in todays ride, however achieaved the furthest distance yet! I put it down to to finally finding my full fingered gloves so keeping my fingers warm!
The result? Just over 8pounds lost in 2 weeks!
To celebrate? Nandos is calling!

Looks like a week of EA Sports Active is paying off, todays bike ride was by far the easiest, despite stronger wind, longer distance and a lot more hills!

3 days in, and a rest day from EA Sports Active. But no rest for the wicked as Wednesday’s are badminton night.
It’s been a while since I’ve played and I felt very rusty, my body also feels pretty exhausted from the previous days activities!
On a plus note, it looks like I’m losing weight (even if it is pretty slowly)

Just completed my 2nd session of EA Sports active, and boy am I unfit.
Sports Active takes you through around 22 different sets of exercises during each workout, ranging anywhere from lunges, stretches and holds to running, basketball, football and even mountain biking, without the fun gimmicky aspect of the wii fit, and also includes a warm up and warm down before and after each session

After each session I have had to pick myself up off the floor, and have struggled to keep up with some of the reps. It turns out that being “bike fit” is not enough and I’ve now used mussels that I forgot I had!
I’m now on a training scheme that will see me doing 4 sessions a week.
Will it work? Will I keep at it?

Despite a headwind that took my down to near snail pace for 4 miles of the circuit I managed to knock 10mins off last weeks attempt. I guess being the first ride for a few months with a hangover must have meant I was going pretty slow!
Shame the combinations of beer and the takeaway over the week means I’ve put on 3 pounds since last weeks ride
